Toy Testing Service

Service Details:

It is necessary to ensure that toys are safe and comply with the European regulations. Basically toys of all kinds need to be tested - electronic toys, plush toys, electro-motor-operated toys, stuffed toys, remote-control toys, etc.

Certification is done under Directorate General of Foreign Trade

Import of Toys shall be permitted freely when accompanied by the following certificates:

• IS:9873 (Part 1) - Safety of toys; Part - 1 Safety aspects related to mechanical and physical properties (Third Revision)
• IS:9873 (Part 2) - Safety of Toys; Part -2 Flammability (Third Revision)
• IS:9873 (Part 3) - Safety of Toys; Part - 3 Migration of certain elements (Second Revision)
• IS:9873 (Part 4) - Safety of Toys; Part - 4 Swings, Slides and similar activities Toys for indoor and outdoor family domestic use
